The True Spirit of Sportmanship!

In Sports, we aimed in pursue
to WIN, to CHAMP and to be the BEST
Winning Ain't Everything,

But the TRUE SPIRIT in Sportsmanship are, to Respect, to have Dignity, to Honor, to Motivate, to be Determine, to Support, to have Team-Work, and most importantly to NEVER GIVE UP and finish the race, we will finish what we started.

Winning or losing is part of learning in it , if you win do not be proud and if you lose train harder and don't give up.
Your ATTITUDE determine your own course!

*Finally, I had a chance to sit down and finished the whole movie "破风 - To The Fore", that was showing on astro cable tv since the past couple of weeks.  I had watch this 2015 Hong Kong & Chinese movie 1 1/2 times and this is the second time that I watch the whole of it.  It's a good movie that depicts the character, attitude & team spirit of the professional cyclist athletes in pursuing their dreams of becoming the world best.  I know its just a show, but it brings out what sports is all about*

The Trailer

This is a motivational clip of Derek Redmond (Britain's 400mtr sprint athlete), where he tore his hamstring during the 1992 Barcelona Olympic.

In sports as in life, we will be confronted with shit holes and tough conditions that will break us apart and stop us; but we don't stop and end it there, we continue our path ahead until the finishing line in strength and in determination, we finish strong.

Dinner with Venerable Lama Phuntsho

Dinner with Venerable Lama Phuntsho

Date: 6th-Jan-2011
Location: My Residence in KL

It was an honor to be having dinner session with Venerable Lama Phuntsho together w/ my family on the 6th-Jan-2011 (Thursday).  Venerable Lama Phuntsho was introduced to our family by Ms. Toh, a Kasih Hospice volunteer and also a close friend w/ my mom.

An evening w/ venerable Lama Phuntsho sooth our heart, mind & soul.  In his words of wisdom & intellectual, he shares about compassion in respect & appreciation among each others; to visualize beyond material desires to not feeling the lost of not possesing & to think with wisdom when confronted with challenges to not being taken over by emotions and regrets.

His presence warmed our house with laughters and joys, as he's always looking at you in his eyes with a warm smile;  His calm & peacefull tone harmonizes our distress and unsettling minds, his humble thought conditioned humility into our behavior and thinking.

We end our evening around 2200pm, with a photo session with Venerable Lama Phuntsho.
It had been a great & enlightening meeting with him.

Geshe Ngawang Jangchup

*Photos of Geshe Ngawang Jangchup & his helpers, carrying building materials for the nunnary he built.
The structure was built solely by man-power and it takes 3 weeks of walking to travel from the nearest town to the nunnary.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Was having a dinner session with Geshe Ngawang Jangchup (Tibetan Monk from India) back in year end 2009. A man with wisdom, patience & a great sense of humor.

My family arranged the session for our meeting and we exchanged thoughts and ideas. I walked in with a heavy burden on my chest over some troubling issues; but his courages and wisdoms lightened me up. Walk in faith of our deeds and believes.

He gave me a contact card, on it wrote a phrase:
"Why be unhappy about something, If it can be remedied?; And what is the use of being unhappy about something, If it cannot be remedied?"
-Indian Pandit Shanthideva-
